Auditorium Pack Down

Hope Centre, Sunday 19 January (after morning service)

Location:  Auditorium

Many hands make light work! If you can stay for half an hour to an hour after the morning service and help us pack down the auditorium in preparation for setting up for the Party, then we would love to hear from you.

Scaffolding Assistants

Hope Centre, various in week of 19-24 January

Location: Auditorium  

Are you physically strong and able to assist with scaffolding? You will be able to lift, shift and hold scaffolding, and will be good at following instructions. You will also need to be safety conscious as you help to get the scaffolding in place that will support the circus Big Top decorations. If you have time over this week to offer a few hours, then we would love to hear from you.

Decorations & Design

Location:  Hope Centre Facilities

Are you a creative? Do you enjoy transforming spaces into theme and making them look amazing? If so, we need your skills to help decorate various spaces in our circus theme. Decorations are needed for stalls, tables, the auditorium, the foyer etc. If you can bring some great ideas on how to do this in a way that will add to the overall Party experience for our whanau and tamariki, then please get in touch!

Balloons

Hope Centre, Friday 24 January

Location:  Auditorium

Do you have a few hours to spare to help blow up balloons for decorating the facilities? You will be using a machine and will then tying strings to the balloons. If you have good fine motor skills and plenty of patience, then this is the volunteer role for you!
