Cafe Meet and Greet

Hope Centre, Saturday 25 January (morning, afternoon, both)

Location: Function Hall

We are looking for a team of helpers to greet people with a welcoming smile as they arrive at the Function Hall to enjoy their morning or afternoon tea and to get them seated and ready for food to be served. This is a busy role, and you will be on your feet for much of the time.  If you are friendly and enjoy interacting with children and their whanau and think you would enjoy this role, we would like to hear from you!  

Servers

Hope Centre, Saturday 25 January (morning, afternoon, or both)

Are you friendly, good with people and can multitask? Then you might enjoy being part of our Serving Team. In this role you would be serving morning or afternoon tea to the children and their whanau as they take a break from the festivities of Party Day. If you enjoy the opportunity to mix and mingle and put smiles onto people’s faces by delivering them food, then we would love to hear from you.

Table Staff

Location: Function Hall

The cafe is a busy place on Party Day. Whanau are blessed by being served morning or afternoon tea and being able to take some time out of the busyness to enjoy some food together. The team will serve around 950 people over the course of the day, and it is important that as tables are vacated, we can move quickly to wipe them down, dispose of rubbish or leftovers and have them ready for the next family who arrives. If you enjoy a busy role, have an eye for detail and understand the importance of this type of service, then you would be a great fit here. We would love you to connect with us!
