Stall Helpers

Hope Centre, Saturday 25 January (morning, afternoon or both)

Location: Auditorium

Are you friendly, welcoming and love interacting with children? We are looking for several helpers to serve in the various Stalls in the party zone – hat stall, backpack stall, bag tag stall, drink bottle and lunchbox stall, pencil case stall, t-shirt stall. Children will choose their own items (other than t-shirts which are pre-packaged for them). We need people who are great at helping children make a decision in a fun way while being efficient at the same time. If this sounds like you, we would love to connect with you.

Shoe Stall

Hope Centre, Saturday 25 January (morning, afternoon or both)

Location: Auditorium

If you enjoy actively engaging with children and would enjoy helping them try on their new shoes, this could be a good role for you.  You would need to be confident with the physical nature of this role as there is a lot of bending and kneeling involved. You would be working with Team Leader Nadine Te Pohe and the great team from Rebel Sport. You will be blessed at being part of the excitement of the tamariki as they get their new shoes, along with new socks and laces!

Face Painters

Hope Centre, Saturday 25 January (morning, afternoon or both)

Location: Auditorium

Is creativity your passion? Do you enjoy art? We are looking for people who feel confident in their ability to do face painting, with or without a stencil. We want every child to have a fun experience and leave the face painting area feeling great. If you love to talk while you work, then this might be a great place for you to serve!

Bouncy Castle

Hope Centre, Saturday 25 January (morning afternoon or both)

Location: Auditorium

Keen on a way to serve that is full of energy and excitement? This role will have you supervising the bouncy castle, monitoring numbers of children that are bouncing at one time and making sure behaviour on the castle is safe and fun for everyone. If you are a “take control when you need to” kind of person, then you will be well suited to helping us in this role. You will have a great time engaging with the children in this zone!

Game Zone

Hope Centre, Saturday 25 January (morning afternoon or both)

Location: Auditorium

If you enjoy helping others to have fun, then our game zone might be the place for you!  This area will house several side show type games for the children to engage with as they move around the different spaces in the auditorium. You will need to be someone who is an active supervisor and has the energy to be on your feet for long periods of time.  You will also be someone who has the ability to get everyone involved, including the children who might be a bit more shy than others!
